Vegan food is all natural. When you are dieting, you really need to change your lifestyle, or you will gain the weight back. By changing your way of thinking and your philosophy on natural foods and some good exercise, you will be surprised on how your body transforms into a healthy machine.

Get into the Vegan Diet Plan

I would recommend not just jumping into to the vegan diet plan. Your body will probably react adversely at first. When you are used to eating red meat, chicken, fish, milk, eggs, and fast food, your body adjust on how to digest all the (hard to digest) food. When you change over to greens, fruits, grains, etc., your body will have to make adjustments on flushing out the bad stuff. Gradually work you way into the diet, over 2-4 weeks.

Exercise in the Vegan Diet Plan

Exercise is 50% of your success with the diet. It is extremely important to exercise, build muscle and burn all the fat out of your body. Daily exercise helps to burn all the calories that you take in during the day. It is important to make sure you get the extra protein after your workouts, by drinking protein shakes or eating protein bars.

Protein is everywhere, but you need Vegan Protein. When you actually look into the foods you are eating, I think you will be surprised at how much protein you are getting. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, most of the daily foods contain protein. Some of the high sources of this protein comes from leafy greans, grains and beans.

If you are exercising 3-6 days a week, I recommend getting extra protein. This protein can come in sources of protein shakes, protein bars and even supplements. Two things that i suggest are Soy Protein powder and mix in with some ice and soy milk to make a milkshake. Then there are also strawberry flavors. Protein bars are the best to take right after a workout.

I recommend getting about 1 gram of protein for every pound of your body weight every day.
